My Adventure Journey
We’re all on a journey, one big adventure called ‘life’, made up of smaller experiences that may feel like huge adventures in themselves.
Some adventures might be set in amazing outdoor spaces, whilst others are unexpected and quirky. Sometimes they can even be life events that are an adventure of a totally different kind.
By sharing our adventure journey, we can reflect on what we’ve achieved, start to plan the next chapter, and inspire others to live life adventurously.
This summer our 'My Adventure Journey' campaign is about just that. Sharing timelines from our tribe to celebrate and inspire. You’ll find a new one here every week throughout July and August. We’ll be sharing on our social channels and spreading the word by e-mail.

Lola is part of the Go Ape customer care team, and we love her story!
She’s been living life adventurously since well before she joined Go Ape. Shortly before she did, along with her husband, they sold their home, moved into a van with their two dogs, and live and work on the road.

In 2022 Alison turned 60 in the same year that her daughter turned 30, and how did she choose to celebrate? By completing 30 Go Ape Treetop Challenge courses in 60 days, what a feat!
We shouldn't be surprised though, her adventure journey includes everything from huge solo hikes, to launching her own business and battling cancer.

One of the reasons for our My Adventure Journey campaign is to celebrate adventure.
If you've been particularly inspired by one of the adventure timelines, or just want to give the tribe member a virtual high-5, then please complete the form below to give them some kudos.
We'll share every bit of feedback with them and post some of our favourites to this page throughout the summer.
Terms and Conditions
- The competition closes at 23:59 on 03/09/2023
- One lucky winner will be chosen by Go Ape by 08/09/2023
- Winners will be contacted via email or direct message by 22/09/2023 and must accept the competition prize within 10 days of being contacted.
- If the original winner isn’t contactable, an alternative winner will be selected.
- Only one entry per person.
- Entries are only accepted by the entrant posting an image of the entered timeline on Instagram or Facebook. To be valid entry the Go Ape handle @GoApeTribe and hashtag #MyAdventureJourney must be used in the post.
- Entries must be submitted by an adult aged 18 and over. One adult can submit multiple entries on behalf of their children.
- Go Ape employees and the family of Go Ape employees aren't eligible to win.
- The prizes cannot be exchanged for the equivalent monetary value.
- The prizes will be received within 60 working days of the winner providing Go Ape of their delivery details.
- The prize consists of a copy of the winner’s adventure timeline and a £100 Go Ape gift card. The timeline will be re-created by Go Ape artworkers in the style of the timelines published by Go throughout the My Adventure Journey campaign.
- We ask that the prize winner interacts with publicity surrounding the competition. The winner's name, Twitter handle, Instagram handle, or Facebook username may appear in the Go Ape social media profiles and Go Ape website (goape.co.uk).
- Your privacy is important to us. We take great care with how we collect, store and use your personal information and will not share or transfer your personal information without your prior consent except as set out in our Privacy Notice.
