Design a Christmas Card Competition

Calling all creative adventurers! Go Ape has a special seasonal challenge for you -  we want to SEE and SHARE your adventures for our amazing Christmas Card Competition. 

We’ve created a festive competition where you can show off your artistic and adventurous skills, and be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes! The theme of the competition is “Christmas Outdoors”, and we want all our 5-10-year-old monkeys to submit a design.

Not only will the competition winner’s design be featured on our Christmas cards (with their name, age and school included on the back) they will also be awarded a Go Ape Family Pass AND a merchandise bundle (2 adult sweatshirts, 2 child sweatshirts, 4x bobble hats, 4x gloves).

The runner up will also receive a Go Ape Family Pass which can be used at any national Go Ape site! What could be a better Christmas outing?

This competition is a fantastic opportunity to test your creative skills, share your adventures and be in with the chance of making some even more amazing memories!

The Theme

We are asking pupils to create a design inspired by Christmas Outdoors. 

By entering our competition, your pupil's artwork will have the chance to feature on Go Ape's 2020 Christmas Card - sent to suppliers and partners across the UK!

The Prize

The winning design will be Go Ape's official Christmas Card for 2020 and  will feature the winners first name, age and School on the back.

Winner: The winner will recieve a certificate, the Christmas card and a family voucher to Go Ape with a merchandise bundle! Total prize worth over £250. 

Runner Up: The runner up will recieve a family voucher to Go Ape. Prize value £75. 

How to enter

This competition has now closed - stay tuned for the winner annoucement. 

Students will need to: 

  • Create a design on white A4 paper
  • Must be in colour - coloured pencils, paint, crayons and felt tips can be used. We would advise not to stick additional material onto the entry to make it easy to print your design.
  • Should be image only and not feature any text.
  • Must be uploaded as JPEG or PNG file. You can scan/take a clear picture of the design to upload to the form below. 
  • File size should be 20MB max.

Competition launches officially on the 2nd November 2020 closes on the 27th November 2020 at 5pm. For all you eager beaver's enter via the form now. 

Competition Terms and Conditions

Prize Draw & Competition Ts&Cs

1. The Promoter is: Adventure Forest Limited Trading as Go Ape Ltd whose registered office is at Unit 1, Fornham Business Court, The Drift, Fornham St Martin, Bury St Edmunds, IP31 1SL.

2. The Competition is: a competition to design Go Ape’s 2020 Christmas Card. Students/children aged between 5-10 can enter their Christmas Card designs to the theme of ‘Christmas Outdoors’ by uploading entries online at . Entries must be uploaded by an adult over 18yrs old. The overall winner’s design will be featured on Go Ape’s Christmas cards for 2020 (with their name, age and school included on the back) they will also be awarded a Go Ape Family Pass and merchandise bundle. One Runner up will win a Go Ape Family Pass.

    1. One Go Ape Family Pass. Valid for 2 adults and 2 Children for the Treetop Adventure course only. Voucher Valid for 1 year of issue date.
    2. Merchandise bundle to include… i. 2 adult sweatshirts, 2 child sweatshirts, 4x bobble hats, 4x gloves.

3. To enter the Competition you must be: (a) UK resident; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry. We encourage parents/guardians/teachers to enter on behalf of their child.

4. Employees of Go Ape or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Competition or helping to set up the Competition shall not be permitted to enter the Competition.

5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.

6. Entry for the Competition is via the Go Ape website via . Aplicants are required to take a photo/scan of the Christmas card design and upload via the form. All details must be completed. To enter please upload your design to the form on

7. The Competition period starts 2nd November 2020 09:00am (GMT) until 27th November 2020 at 05.00pm (GMT).

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not fully received for whatever reason.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in any event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

10. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.

11. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

12. The winner(s) will be chosen at random based on meeting the theme of ‘Christmas Outdoors’.

13. The winner(s) will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

14. The winner(s)’ details may be passed on to third party companies who are collaborating with the Promoter in the campaign for the purpose of fulfilling the prize.

15. Any personal data submitted by the entrants or winner(s) will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

16. By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

17. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
