Adventures
Whether you’re a seasoned Tarzan or yet to experience the thrill of combatting obstacles in the canopy, we guarantee you’ll get a mega kick out of swinging through the trees of Normanby Hall Country Park in Lincolnshire.
LOCATION LOW DOWN
Normanby Hall is a stunning, 300-acre estate nestled in the heart of North Lincolnshire. It’s open to the public year-round and boasts award-winning gardens, abundant wildlife, kids’ playground, gift shop and cafe (oh, and did we mention, a Go Ape course!?).
In the summer months, visitors can amble around Normanby Hall, a fine, Regency Mansion built between 1812 and 1830. Many of the rooms in the Hall contain period furniture and costume galleries. Close by is the estate’s Farming Museum, with the display showcasing the history of farming and rural crafts through the late 19th and 20th centuries.
When you’ve had your hit of history and culture, it’s time to find the greenest patch of grass to lay your picnic blanket down, and enjoy a sarnie or two in the beautiful surrounds (and hopefully, sunshine!).
TAKE IT TO THE TREES!
We’ve opened not one, but two Tarzan-inspired adventures in the gorgeous grounds of Normanby Hall. The first of which is one of our award-winning Tree Top Adventures, jam-packed with sky-high obstacles to get your and your tribe’s adrenaline pumping. Think high ropes, bridges, cargo nets, stirrups, ladders, swings and zip wires. Here are the stats…
- Longest zip: 140 metres
- Highest platform: 7.8 metres
- Longest crossing: 22 metres
- Total course length: 840 metres
Of course, it would be unfair not to include an adventure for kids, which is why our TTA is joined by a Tree Top Junior course suitable for little monkeys desperate to head skyward! Think of it as a bitesize TTA; the course is shorter and the obstacles are smaller, but it’s equally as awesome! Mums and dads have to join smaller monkeys in the treetops, while older monkeys can swing solo while their parents spectate from the ground.
With the weather warming up, there couldn’t be a better time to get outside with your furry tribe and live life adventurously, which is our motto, if you didn’t know. The trees are calling – book your outdoor adventure at Normanby Hall today!
