  • Absolutely Fantastically Superbly Wondeful x The whole Grizedale Go Ape experience and Grizedale Forest Park Estate was both exciting and breathtaking. Dogs Welcome on a lead and perfect place to have picnics. I was well and truly spent after attending tree top adventure the first day we went and Forest Segway the following day. Both times we walked Alfie before and after activities and he truly loved it. The Staff from first point of contact on callling to book, to arrival and throughout each day. Ben on tree top adventure was Super & very engaging to our whole group, informative and consistent in his approach. James on Segway was just as awesome and again, his tuition and guidance was second to none and kept us all safe and informed. We really enjoyed the historic information about Grizedale from the old estate and it being flattened in 1960’s to the whole forest being replanted and upkept Incl wildlife, Pow’s That were held here during wartime etc. Could have listened to much more very interesting. There’s a cafe, ice cream parlour, children’s play area and climbing frames, and various other outlets, as well as the electric Bike Hire and trails throughout the forest. Definitely somewhere we will revisit again and again. Camping at Grizedale site looks awesome too. Thank you Go Ape, Grizedale Staff and Other visitors for making our days.
