Our Segway experience at Cannock Chase with Go Ape was a lot of fun. The machines are easy to master and the pre-experience tuition was concise, practical and well presented by our guide (Alice). Despite it being a rainy day our experience was every bit as much fun, maybe even moreso as we got to ride through some pretty deep puddles - and who wouldn't enjoy that! A manageable group size with plenty of opportunities to regroup and make sure everyone was included. You don't need to be young and fit to participate (which is just as well really!), just a reasonable sense of balance will suffice.

We had a brilliant time. Gary the instructor was attentive, just gave us the right amount of encouragement to give us the confidence to go through the woods on the segways. The training route was excellent, a little blue route to get us used to the segways and then a slightly harder red route to ensure we were confident to go through the woods. There was enough staff to get us on the segways safely the first time. I cannot wait to go again. I have recommended it to my work colleagues. I cannot state how much we all enjoyed the experience. All the staff were friendly and explained everything very well.

Segway Experience was brilliant! Katie was our guide who coached us expertly through the safety, use of the machines and helped us develop skills on the practice course before heading out. We spent about and hour on the machines around Cannock chase and for a first time this was great, enough to gain some confidence and enjoy the machines. Overall this was a brilliant trip out and was a great way to experience these machines.
