Archery Tag at Go Ape Dalkeith

Archery Tag, sometimes known as combat archery, is an activity that merges the intensity of dodgeball with the precision of archery.

During a session at Go Ape Dalkeith, you'll be equipped with a bow and foam-tipped arrows, which are designed to be safe (yet satisfying) when you hit your target or opponents.

The Objective of Archery Tag

The objective of Archery Tag is to eliminate players from the opposing team by tagging them with arrows or catching their arrows mid-flight.

All players will wear protective gear consisting of a face mask and arm guards, and can seek cover behind inflatable barricades positioned strategically across the field.

Our Go Ape instructors are also always on hand to oversee the match, ensuring that everyone understands the rules and safety guidelines.

The Benefits of Archery Tag

  • Enhances physical fitness - the action of drawing and releasing the bowstring works your arm, shoulder, and back muscles. Not to mention, you’ll need to run and dive away from incoming arrows.

  • Develops your focus and concentration - as you aim for your targets and strategise with your team, you’ll develop better hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Enhances teamwork skills - fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie as you work together to win the match.
