New Adventures in 2025
Big updates at Black Park, Slough

Set in beautiful woodland just outside London, Go Ape Black Park reopened in early 2025 with one of our most exciting transformations to date. The Treetop Challenge became a self-belay course, giving adventurers more independence as they took on brand-new crossings, wobbly bridges, and a spectacular new Tarzan Swing.

Our Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus were also rebuilt as separate experiences. The Adventure course gained its own low loop of obstacles — ideal for younger children to build confidence — while Adventure Plus got new high loops, crossings and an all-new zip wire.

We also added Axe Throwing for over 16s, inviting groups to test their aim and competitive spirit, and introduced a new fleet of Mini Land Rovers for kids. With so much to do, Black Park became a go-to destination for families, friends and team away days alike.

Exciting Updates at Battersea Park, South London

March 2025 brought a major refresh to Go Ape Battersea Park, blending leafy parkland with iconic city views. The Treetop Challenge gained new obstacles including Barrels and the Prisoner’s Bridge with Climbing Holds, plus an unmissable new photo spot high above the ground.

The Treetop Adventure Plus course became a standalone experience with brand-new crossings, giving younger adventurers an even bigger thrill.

For the first time ever, Battersea also launched an indoor Go Ape Escape Room, Codebreakers — challenging visitors to swap harnesses for head-scratching puzzles. The combination of high ropes and problem-solving proved a hit with families, friends and teams alike.

Bullseye at Aberfoyle and Leeds Castle

At Go Ape Aberfoyle in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, 2025 brought a brand-new way to experience the forest. Already home to two of the UK’s longest zip lines, the site added Axe Throwing, giving visitors the chance to channel their inner lumberjack after flying through the air.

Further south, Go Ape Leeds Castle in Kent joined the action with its own Axe Throwing arena. The addition complemented its grand high ropes and twin 250m zip wires, creating an unbeatable mix of forest fun and friendly competition.

Both locations quickly became favourite spots for team days out and adventurous weekends with friends.

In the Net at Alice Holt Forest, Surrey

Down in the South Downs, Go Ape Alice Holt expanded its line-up in 2025 with a brand-new Nets Adventure. Perfect for mini explorers (aged 1+) and the young-at-heart, the giant suspended nets offered bouncy fun, giant inflatable balls, and slides that brought everyone back down to earth laughing.

Alongside its three high ropes courses, Alice Holt became a must-visit for family days out and school trips looking for something a little different.

A New Way to Adventure: The Go Ape Annual Pass

Spring 2025 marked the launch of a Go Ape first — our brand-new Annual Pass. Designed for our most adventurous fans, the pass gave holders unlimited access to selected activities throughout the year, offering unbeatable value and a brand-new way to explore more of the UK’s forests.

It was the start of something special — the year Go Ape went from one-off adventure to all-year adventure.
