  • WEAR SENSIBLE CLOTHES FOR ADVENTURE
  • FOOTWEAR MUST BE STURDY AND SUITABLE FOR THE OUTDOORS. NO SANDALS, SLIP OFF SHOES, OPEN TOES OR HEELS.
  • GLOVES ARE A GOOD IDEA. BRING A PAIR OR BUY THEM AT THE CABIN ON THE DAY.
  • MIDGES WILL BE AROUND DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. REMEMBER TO BRING SOME SPRAY, OR BUY IT FROM THE CABIN.

Where is Go Ape Aberfoyle?

Take in the stunning surroundings of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park at Go Ape Aberfoyle. It's a mecca for Go Ape pilgrims, thrill seekers, adventure lovers and those that just want to get out and have some fun in Loch Lomond. With a camp site located in Queen Forest Park and Britain’s largest off-road cycle network why not spend the day exploring the forest by bike and stay the night to make a whole day out of it?

How To Find Us

By Car

Take the A81 to Aberfoyle, at the roundabout head towards Aberfoyle and then follow the signs for Callander A821 (A84) with brown signage for Forest Park Visitor Centre.

Head up the hill and Follow the Brown signs for Go Ape into the The Lodge Visitor centre car park.

Then follow footpath signage to the Go Ape Cabin. Due to the rural nature of our locations, postcodes are not always accurate when using satellite navigation.

Please always check the route it has given you before setting off, and cross reference with a map.

Parking is £3 for the day.

 

By Train

The nearest train station is located at Stirling. First ScotRail operate a service from Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling.

Opening Times

Our forest doors at Aberfoyle are open nearly all year around so there's plenty of time to live life adventurously. 

However, we usually close after early December as not only does it get a little chilly we like to give our adventures a little TLC during this time.
