At Broughton take the B712 on the right which joins the A72 (turn right) and head into Peebles. Then from Peebles follow the A72 towards Galashiels for 1.5 miles and the entrance for Glentress is signposted to the left hand side. Coming from the east take the A72 towards Peebles and just after the village of Cardrona (and MacDonald Hotel) the entrance for Glentress is signposted to the right.

The Go Ape course is approx 500m (10min walk) from the Bike shop and Cafe, up the gentle hill into the forest. There is a car park next to the Go Ape Cabin.
The course is approx 500m up the gentle hill following the forest road from the bus stop.
The 62 and 62a buses from Edinburgh to Galashiels both stop right outside the Glentress entrance.
Ask for “Glentress” rather than “Peebles” - The driver is more likely to drop you outside the site, rather than in Peebles. The stop is not in Peebles itself but 3 miles east of Peebles.
Please check out First Group for more information on how to get to Peebles.
Our forest doors at Glentress are open nearly all year around so there's plenty of time to live life adventurously.
However, we usually close after early December as not only does it get a little chilly we like to give our adventures a little TLC during this time.
To see when you can unleash your inner ape at your preferred Go Ape location please use our orange booking bar to view available booking dates.
We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
