Go Ape Wins Best Attraction in the School Travel Awards

We're so pleased to announce that we won the Best UK Attraction/Destination award at this year's School Travel Awards at the Royal Garden Hotel, London. 

Hosted by the School Travel Organiser on the 15th November 2019, these awards recognise and celebrate the people and the companies behind inspiring school trips, including teachers, attractions and providers. 

This year we were lucky to be nominated for two awards voted for by teachers, Best UK Attraction/Destination and the Learning/Education team of the year award! We were up against some great companies for both awards and are really honoured to have been named the Best UK Attraction/Destination! 

It was a great awards ceremony with a brilliant performance from the cast of Jamie the musical, superb meal and a great networking opportunity to chat to fellow school trip providers. 

Attending the ceremony this year were a few members of our events team, Sharron, Chloe, Natalie, Richard, Georgina, along with two of our site managers, Tara and Luke alongside Jo from our marketing team! 

As a team we love being at the awards. We love hearing about what school trips mean to both the students and the teachers. 

This year we sponsored the 'My Best School Trip' Award. An award created to reward schools and celebrate educational visits that achieve their objectives as well as giving children a rich and rewarding experience. Our very own Sharron Scott loved presenting the award to the winning school (Kingswood House School, Surrey) on the night. It's great to see trips being recognised for the amazing trips they do.
