Develop Through Adventure
At Go Ape we offer you full on-line and practical training needed to excel in your role:
- Be trained on multiple activities such as Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, Segway’s, Axe-Throwing and more!

Join subsidised trips in the UK and beyond to go on various adventures
- Access to our internal learning library with over 400 courses and resources across topics such as Healthy and Safety, Business Management, Equality and Diversity, Environment and more!
- Progression in the role can lead to further training including Duty Manager/Senior Instructor, Course Inspecting, PPE Inspecting, Rescue and First Aid training. You may also be able learn how to train and assess your fellow Instructors.
"I’ve worked at Go Ape since I was 17. I started in the cabin, only old enough to partake in customer service duties, and year by year progressed as an instructor to a senior instructor and now sit on the board of employee representatives in our employee council. I now balance work alongside a busy University schedule and Go Ape manages my time and adapts to work around me. I’ve been able to upskill in customer service skills; maintenance duties; and take on responsibilities such as rescue training. Every year they have provided me with ample opportunity to develop and I hope to continue this for the rest of my time at University."
