"Go Ape has helped me develop various skills in management, and the support network is fantastic. It is a pleasure to come to work to such an inspiring, supportive and friendly environment and since Go Ape has become employee owned it makes it extra special to be a part of."

"I was super shy when I began at Go Ape and nervous about having to stand in front of a group of strangers to deliver their safety brief, however it soon became less scary once I realised customers are there to have a good time, and in some cases face some fears, and it was my job to facilitate that. I took a real confidence boost from that and found hidden people skills that I didn’t know I had."

"I’ve worked at Go Ape since I was 17. I started in the cabin, only old enough to partake in customer service duties, and year by year progressed as an instructor to a senior instructor and now sit on the board of employee representatives in our employee council. I now balance work alongside a busy University schedule and Go Ape manages my time and adapts to work around me. I’ve been able to upskill in customer service skills; maintenance duties; and take on responsibilities such as rescue training. Every year they have provided me with ample opportunity to develop and I hope to continue this for the rest of my time at University."
Jack Musselwhite, Senior Instructor & Employee Councillor
