Know Before You Go

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Southampton

27th August 2016

Brilliant day. Went with a 6, 10 & 16 year old. We all did junior course. Kids loved it so much they went back for second time! All the staff were friendly but professional and we felt safe in the harnesses. Steve was especially helpful. Will definitely go back to do the Adventurer course with the older kids, but junior course had ample for all levels so will probably do that again too.

Did the Tree Top Adventure for my daughter's 10th birthday treat. I knew the children would love it but was a bit nervous for myself. In fact we all enjoyed it - I even managed the extreme Tarzan swing. That and the zip wires were the children's favourite parts of the course.

I was really, really pleased with the experience. Having done a similar activity at Center Parcs, we decided to come to Go Ape - and the Go Ape experience was far superior to Center Parcs. Both in terms of price (Go Ape is not cheap, but CP much more expensive), and the experience (the Go Ape course was better, and the fact that we could carry on around both courses for the full hour). We all thought it was fantastic, and will definitely come again.

A wonderful experience for our three children in the trees, and us and our dog below, watching. The confidence, knowledge and friendliness of the staff made this a day to remember as they provided the possibility for our children to enjoy and be confident, use problem solving skills and work together as a team, helping each other. Thank you.
