Know Before You Go

What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

Are there toilets?

Yes there will be, but they may be a little walk from the Go Ape cabin. Please allow some extra time for a toilet stop!

I went with 3 of my friends! We all had a great time! Once you've got the Health & Safety sunk into you, it's just a great laugh after that! Will definitely be doing Go Ape again next year!

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Moors Valley

Go ape is always a great way to challenge yourself and push outside your comfort zone! My two teenagers loved it! Only disappointment was the supposed discount code offered a few days before hand to entice me to book was invalid, despite several attempts. After promising 2 teenagers this opportunity we went ahead anyway, but feel we have been treated unfairly on prices as appears false marketing. Code offered was VENW66? Aware I could have called helpline to query code but helpline £3 to call!?!?

Booked for my son (6 years-old) who loved it. He did get a little scared when a couple of older kids starting jumping behind him and made the course sway as the kids weren't keeping to the rule of 2 at a time on the crossings.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Forest of Dean

26th September 2016

The actual tree top experience was great, but your website information, directions to the Go Ape site, customer contact and signage in the Forest left a lot to be desired. You tell customers not to follow the Brown Go Ape signs (in Forest of Dean) for Junior Go Ape, and NOT To put post code in the sat nav. You provide Lat/Long details, but these take customers to the wrong site. Your contact form only allows the briefest of messages, and took too long to reply. There were no signs in the forest for the junior site. All this led to a poor customer experience.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Bedgebury

The staff at Bedgebury Go Ape are always suitably cool and chilled dudes, they talk to the children and remember names but above all they are always very kind and reassuring when nerves get the better of some of us.

Brilliant we loved it, great fun for all ages, even us oldies! The only problem was, we forgot our camera and Claude took a couple of photos which she said she'd email through. We haven't had them yet but would be so grateful if we could, so that we've have a memento of our adventure!
