What should I wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

What is Tree Top Junior?

It’s a fun filled hour of canopy exploring, trail blazing and obstacles for all to enjoy. You’ll negotiate crossings and finish on a high (literally) with one awesome zip wire.

Can I go on as an adult?

If you want to join your little monkeys then just book yourself on. Bear in mind the course is designed for children so the safety cable won’t be quite where you'd like it.

Are there toilets?

Yes there will be, but they may be a little walk from the Go Ape cabin. Please allow some extra time for a toilet stop!

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Trent Park

25th July 2016

I took my apprehensive 12 year old who nearly got cold feet but half way around found his inner ape and there was no stopping him. The Trent Park crew were positive, professional and we'll be back in a few weeks to take advantage of the discount offer. Good fun.

Tarzan swings were a highlight for the whole family - everybody managed! Start was a bit frustrating as we were asked to begin last in a fairly big group with our younger children were bursting to start. Overall the course was demanding but achievable - a great afternoon out with lots of excited chatter and huge smiles as everybody came down the long zip wires.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Haldon

25th July 2016

All the staff at Haldon forest were friendly and helpful, and even though we went round in a group, there was always some one around keeping an eye on things. I would recommend Going there for a fun day so long as you're not afraid of heights.

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Peebles Glentress Forest

25th July 2016

Weather was terrible in the morning, the staff approached us before we had parked to let us know the situation. It was the only day all of our party could go so we stayed. We had almost hourly updates from very helpful staff. Got on in the afternoon as soon as the thunder and lightening had stopped!!! Beautiful afternoon - dry and we had the place to ourselves! Staff were wonderful. WE WILL BE BACK! Thank you.

My two girls, aged 3 & 6, loved it and I felt really confident that they were safe throughout (even if it was a little higher than I thought it would be!). The 6 year old wants to go back RIGHT NOW!! Great fun!

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Bedgebury

25th July 2016

A good afternoon out for my son's 12th birthday with his friends. Given that there were 5 boys we had to pay for 3 adults which worked out quite expensive. I think the adult charge should be reduced if accompanying children as we had to take responsibility. No complaints about the staff. Late start and quite a slow process of the briefing but I understand the importance of safety. Martin was very attentive and made a point of using everyone's first names - Excellent attention to detail.
