Throw in some tricky tree-high crossings and super speedy zip wires and you have all the making of a brilliant outdoor adventure.

You’ll find Go Ape Southampton in Itchen Valley Country Park. This 440 acres of beautiful water meadows, woodland and meadows are situated beside the River Itchen and has been recognised by the award of a Green Flag for the past four years.
As Southampton’s hub for outdoor activities there’s a lot to keep the family entertained and busy. With two play areas to choose from, linked by the Play Trail which is made up of a series of animal sculptures for children to play on the whole family are sure to have a great time.
You’ll also find a number of trails to guide you through the beautiful country park including the Keepers Trail, Nature Detective Trail and Tree Trail. For the more adventurous there are two permanent orienteering courses which are designed so you don’t need a compass.
There are regular activities provided throughout the year for children so make sure you check the park’s website to see what’s on when you visit. With an onsite café serving hot and cold food and drinks and a picnic site, there’s plenty of opportunity for those all-important refuel moments.
Not too far away from Go Ape at Moors Valley Country Park, Southampton, Alice Holt and Bracknell, cabins are nestled among tall beech trees in a corner of secluded forest. From woodland den building to marshmallow melting, surround yourself with nature in a cabin in the heart of one of Britain's beautiful forests.
Explore the Hampshire countryside on riverside and forest walks; hike across the downs and stop off at quaint village pubs; climb hills and walk along chalkland ridges for fabulous views all the way down to the south coast.
