Go Ape Battersea Park | London's Tree Top Adventure

Quick book

BATTERSEA PARK

London

Situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea, Go Ape Battersea takes a new twist on our classic Tree Top Adventure. Incorporating some of the park’s taller trees, our city experience includes knee-knocking crossings that are double the height of most Go Ape adventures, and many are twice as long, making them extra wobbly and challenging.

Can I go on as an adult?

If you want to join your little monkeys then just book yourself on. Bear in mind the course is designed for children so the safety cable won’t be quite where you'd like it.

Are there toilets?

Yes there will be, but they may be a little walk from the Go Ape cabin. Please allow some extra time for a toilet stop!

ReVIEWS & FEEDBACK

Excellent family fun, a really great high octane adventure for adults and children alike. More of a workout than I had realised too with a fantastic array of obstacles which tested our bravery but always in a way in which you felt safe. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Going Ape again very soon, thank you!

Booked for my 2 sons aged 10 (has been before) & 6.5yrs old (1st time). Was really pleased that my youngest who has autism coped really well as his coordination/mobility is a little chaotic at times - he did "fall off" once but after a few tears was happy to carry on and both boys really enjoyed. Nice active hour in the shady canopy of trees. Was a little muffed though when we got home to discover an email in my inbox offering 15% off for the very next day and beyond! If I had known about that I would have gone then instead as it is not a cheap thing to do - instead the kids missed out on a nice cream as I told them I had spent enough for one day what with petrol and parking... My eldest would love to do your longer course but i am put off by the necessity for an adult to take part with him rather than support from the ground - it makes for a very expensive treat and given that he is a sporty outdoorsy sort (rugby, karate, cubs and so on) I am sure he would be fine... Shame as otherwise might have considered for his birthday with some of his friends...

Booked this for my Hen do. Had an amazing time. Dave our safety instructor dealt with us giggly hens very well and helped us build confidence doing the course in the rain! Would definitely go again and have already recommended it to my friends and work colleagues! :)

We were very disappointed with our morning at go ape. There were several very small children and children who were terrified on the course who needed coaxing around so my children were left standing waiting on platforms for sometimes ten minutes while someone was helping through a section. Very frustrating for us to watch and the children taking part as they hardly got many turns around the course at all. They were told we could stay on an extra ten mins but by then they were hot, tired and fed up of hanging about so we went. Understand people are different levels and abilities but some one should be keeping a watch on everyone being able to enjoy their visit.

We all had a great time at go ape Thetford. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The tree top adventure was a lot of fun and we all felt very safe! I would say to those who have never done it before you do need to be reasonably fit. My arms ache a lot today and I am covered in bruises, the fitter (lighter) members of our group are not feeling it quite so much lol! Over all we had a great time and I think it's great value for money!!!!

We had to wait quite a long time to get going as people in our group were late, therefore we had to stop and put more money in the carpark. But we still had fun.

I imagine would have had a brilliant time if a tiny scared child hadn't been allowed on the hard course to move at a snails pace and eventually get stuck, meaning a lot of us had to just stand there, mid course, while our time slot slipped away, until staff finally noticed and came to rescue him :-(

Following my 7 year old daughter around and watching her experience some 'controlled' danger for the first time. Priceless. She absolutely loved it. I asked her if she had fun and all she could say was 'Daddy! When can we do that again?'

Service desk were excellent as we were late arriving due to a vehicle obstructing the overflow carpark access road on a very busy day. It was there the entire time we were at GoApe but nothing was done about it being in the way, parked on double yellows and causing chaos. The course marshalls/instructors did a good job but some children need more monitoring than others, particularly impatient older kids who do not want to wait for little ones and spoil the experience for others. Some parents 'watching' were completely oblivious to the issues their children were causing and perhaps the marshalls could be a bit stronger on this. Excellent facility, kids had a good go for their money and safety was paramount. A little refeshments station by the course would be good, especially in hot weather.
