Only 35 minutes from Central London with free parking, and just 5 minutes from Cockfosters tube station, this London high ropes course is a wonder to behold. One of our highest adventures in the South, the obstacles really pack a punch and the zip wires will leave you feeling exhilarated.


Daring duos, fearless friends and gutsy families taking on high ropes at Cockfosters will be rewarded with heart-pumping crossings as you traverse the treetops 16 metres above the ground. Find your wild in this 413 acres of ancient woodland and untouched meadows.

Tree Top Adventure

Two to three hours of unrivialled and inimitable adventure, packed with obstacles for the bold and the brave. Scream side-by-side on our dual Skateboard zips, and take on the longest zip line in London. Tailor your adventure with our dual course, and choose which crossings you tackle. Gather your Tribe and take them to new heights, after all, the bigger the challenge, the bigger the sense of achievement.

  • Wear sensible clothes for adventure and only bring the essentials - there is limited space for storage in the cabin.
  • Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.
  • Gloves are a good idea. Bring a pair or buy them at the cabin on the day.
  • Parking is free.


  • Bring your bike and follow the cycle trails to explore the meadows.
  • Visit the wild animal rescue centre and meet a variety of furry and feathered friends.
  • Let your little monkeys loose on the childrens playground.
  • Boost your energy with a hot meal and a drink at the Trent Park café.

Life at Cockfosters


Set in 413 acres of rolling meadows, enchanting brooks, exquisite lakes and ancient woodland, Trent Park, Cockfosters forms part of London's Green Belt and provides a natural, rural and tranquil atmosphere right on the outskirts of London. Go Ape Cockfosters is an orangutans arm away from Cockfosters Tube Station making it the perfect day out location.

By Car

Leave the M25 at junction 24 and take the Stagg Hill/Cockfosters Road (A111). Continue for approximately 2.5 miles on the A111 and head straight over 3 roundabouts. 

Turn left into the main entrance of Trent Country Park. Sometimes your sat-nav will try and send you to another entrance - make sure you join us from Cockfosters Road!

The main entrance to Trent Country Park is not signposted to Go Ape so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled.


By Train

It's just a 10 minute walk from Cockfosters tube station. As you leave the underground station by the nearest exit, turn right and walk up Cockfosters Road (A111, heading away from the shops). 

Trent Country Park is on your right hand side approximately 400 metres along (see entrance image on right). Follow the park road and you will soon see Go Ape on the right.

Opening Times

Our forest doors at Cockfosters are open nearly all year around so there's plenty of time to live life adventurously. 

However, we usually close after early December as not only does it get a little chilly we like to give our adventures a little TLC during this time.
