The mother of all our courses is set within 50,000 acres of pine and is the UK's largest man made lowland forest. It's patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaves provide the ideal setting for a great day out, and a welcome refuge for a rich variety of animal and plant life. The Go Ape adventure began at High Lodge Thetford back in 2002.

Answer the rally cry at Thetford Forest. Offering a mix of purpose-built tracks and scenic woodland paths, our Thetford location features “free ride trails”. This means that an instructor will be located in a central hub, enabling you to enjoy a self-guided adventure – free to explore the tracks at your own pace. Our four purpose-built trails offer different challenges, with steep inclines and tight corners to get stuck into. You can complete any of the purpose-built trails you wish, as they lead back to one central spot. Your instructor can help you decide whether you should challenge yourself to complete them all or master the routes you are most comfortable with.
