Adventure Days Out in Suffolk | Go Ape High Lodge, Thetford

Quick book

Thetford forest CLosed

I’m afraid that Doris packed a punch on Thursday night, knocking over a few trees around Thetford Forest Go Ape. We are currently working with the Forestry Commission to make the trees safe before a careful inspection of our course.  We should be back up and running in a few days and will place updates on this page when we are back open.

THETFORD

Suffolk

The mother of all our courses is set within 50,000 acres of pine and is the UK's largest man made lowland forest. It's patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaves provide the ideal setting for a great day out, and a welcome refuge for a rich variety of animal and plant life. The Go Ape adventure began at High Lodge Thetford back in 2002.

27th February 2017

Great experience with my 10 and 12 yr old - just one ladder too short for my son who did come up to height obviously on arrival - also the briefing staff member was quite patronising and he told me not to help my daughter as it was best she found out herself how to attach the Carabina- not offering to help to show her again! That said it was a lot of fun and made us ache afterwards!
