A Triple-Whammy of Adventure

Release your wild side in Delamere Forest, home to our Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segway and Tree Top Junior experiences. We've got outdoor adventure covered with something for everyone, from mind-bending high rope obstacles 12 metres above the forest floor to whipping your way between the trees on all-terrain Segways. Plus, a high ropes course just for kids!

More than just thrill-upon-thrill, you'll love the monumental views. Delamere Forest literally means ‘forest of the lakes’? It’s beautiful body of water, Blakemere Moss, was formed due to a glacier melt during the Ice Age, and is visible from both our Tree Top Adventure and Forest Segway trail. Keep your eyes peeled!

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

How To Find Us

Go Ape Delamere Forest
Forest Park

By Car

Due to our rural location we recommend that you do not use sat nav or GPS systems to locate our course, however if you feel it will aid your journey, head for ‘Delamere Railway Station’ on Station Road - the B5152.

Go Ape will be signposted from here and is only a few minutes away.

Parking Weekdays: Follow the road down towards the main car park near the cafe, once parked, walk back up the road you just drove down heading towards the railway station. Turn left over the railway bridge and Go Ape will be on the right hand side in the forest.

Weekends & School Holidays: Follow the Go Ape parking signs into the car park next to the train station, once parked, walk towards the houses taking the smaller path into the forest on your right. Then at the bridge turn right over the railway bridge and down towards our cabin.

Please note: It will normally only take 5-10 minutes to get to the cabin from the car park, but it can take a little longer during peak times, there are no toilets at the cabin, toilets are located in all car parks.

Parking costs £4 for 3 hours or £6 for all day (coins only) giving you plenty of time to refuel at the cafe or to continue to live life adventurously on one of the Ape-tastic walking or biking trails that Delamere has to offer.

By Train

Delamere Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station and has won two awards in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition.

Here’s the best bit - it is only a 5 minute walk away, giving the perfect opportunity to not only help the environment but also warm up those muscles and get the blood pumping!

Once you have arrived at the Station, take an immediate right into the forest following the path and you will see our Go Ape shelter and cabin on the right hand side in the forest.

For train times please see Northern Rail or call 0845 00 00 125.
