Best Nine 2023

2023 has been another adventurous one. Fun-fuelled, weather-packed and memorable.

In no particular order, here's our #BestNine for the year.

#1 Gus Smashes It

Leonie's autistic son Gus joined us at the beginning of the year at Go Ape Dalby. An inspiring story and feat made possible by some of our incredible team in North Yorkshire. Not all superheroes wear capes.

#2 Tiggi's Visual Memory List

Our team at Go Ape Bracknell were approached by Guide Dogs UK to help surprise guide dog owner Tiggi. Accompanied by SAS TV star Mark 'Billy' Billingham, Tiggi completed our Treetop Challenge to bank an experience for her visual memory list!

#3 A New Look

We were excited to reveal a fresh new look for 2023. After listening to valuable feedback from customers and co-owners, our team received brand new technical kit.

#4 Bees About

Wondering why a picture of a bee keeper at Go Ape? Well, this is Paul. Paul kindly removed a swarm of honey bees that had started to make a home up on the Treetop Challenge course at Go Ape Thetford. 40ft above the ground. He also popped back to drop off some honey. Yum!

#5 Izzy Recreates Her Childhood Adventures

Instructor Izzy discovered a photo of herself as a child on our Treetop Challenge course at Go Ape Alice Holt. So, naturally we asked her to recreate the moment 12 years on, and she duly obliged.

#6 Our Co-owners Smash Summer

A shout out to all of our co-owners, we're so proud of our team. For going above and beyond all year round and making a real difference. On so many levels. In summer our site teams put in some massive days to bring Go Ape adventures to life and create unforgettable moments.

#7 Mel and Dave's North Coast 500

Go Ape stalwarts Mel and Dave headed to Scotland for the North Coast 500. An epic road trip over 500 miles and packed full of opportunities to explore and adventure.

#8 Sundown Adventures

Thousands of you joined us in the trees for our series of Sundown Adventures throughout October. Our nights at height were once again so popular. Keep your eyes peeled for limited dates in 2024.

#9 Two Years of Employee Ownership

In October we celebrated two years of employee ownership. Where did that time go?! How did we celebrate? With cake of course!
