Adventures
Nestled between the New Forest and the south coast beaches, Moors Valley Country Park is a picture-perfect location for an active day out near Bournemouth.
With a whopping five Dorset outdoor activities, there's an adrenaline-filled experience for all thrill-seekers of all ages.
Treetop Challenge is our most demanding high ropes course. You'll feel on top of the world as you clamber 11m skywards. There are tricky tree-to-tree crossings and five incredible zip lines – one of which includes a skateboard! Suitable for anyone over 1.4m.
Treetop Adventure is the perfect entry-level children's high ropes course in Dorset. Kids love the wobbly crossings and over 70m dual zip wires!
Treetop Adventure Plus is a step up from Treetop Adventure as it includes an extra loop to the Treetop Adventure course. Your young tribe (minimum height 1.2m) will love to climb higher, leap and crawl through twisty crossings and take on an even longer children's zip wire!
Children (and adults) can bounce through the dappled canopy of the treetop Nets Adventure – giant, ball-filled suspended nets. It's the ultimate outdoor soft play and trampoline experience.
Prefer to stay on the ground? We've also got an hour of exploring Moors Valley Country Park's woodland trails on our all-terrain Forest Segways.
Combine Treetop Adventure or Treetop Adventure Plus with a bounce on Nets Adventure and save £10.
Perfect for young explorers full of beans!
Moors Valley Country Park is an award-winning location 10-miles north of Bournemouth. A popular, buzzing site, Moors Valley Country Park welcomes around 750,000 visitors each year and with acres of forest and park jammed pack with things to do, there’s something for everyone.
There are two adventure play areas - one for older children with a zip slide, space net, climbing boulder and a fortress of towers and crossings and a younger children’s area with gentler slides and swings.
Pack up the kids and head for the Play Trail (suitable for pushchairs).
They will love discovering and exploring the wooden play structures such as the giant Ants Nest, Snake Pit and Crocodile Crossing.
On your way around look out for the Tree Top Trail, a five-metre high, 200-metre long wooden walkway up in the trees (sorry, this bit is not suitable for pushchairs).
If you like a leisurely walk, there are many miles of paths and tracks for you to explore the park and forest. There are also five cycling trails so bring the bike or hire some and try one of the family, moderate or challenging routes.
Bring a picnic or grab a bite in Seasons Restaurant.

In 2023 Go Ape Moors Valley was awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award. Here's a recent review:
"Segway for 5 of us this morning was excellent. Jess our instructor couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Two of our family then went on the Treetop Challenge with Tom as their guide. Again very professional and friendly. This Go Ape is definitely recommended."
