Make a day of it at Moors Valley Country Park

Moors Valley Country Park is an award-winning location 10-miles north of Bournemouth. A popular, buzzing site, Moors Valley Country Park welcomes around 750,000 visitors each year and with acres of forest and park jammed pack with things to do, there’s something for everyone.

There are two adventure play areas - one for older children with a zip slide, space net, climbing boulder and a fortress of towers and crossings and a younger children’s area with gentler slides and swings.

Pack up the kids and head for the Play Trail (suitable for pushchairs).

They will love discovering and exploring the wooden play structures such as the giant Ants Nest, Snake Pit and Crocodile Crossing.

On your way around look out for the Tree Top Trail, a five-metre high, 200-metre long wooden walkway up in the trees (sorry, this bit is not suitable for pushchairs).

If you like a leisurely walk, there are many miles of paths and tracks for you to explore the park and forest. There are also five cycling trails so bring the bike or hire some and try one of the family, moderate or challenging routes.

Bring a picnic or grab a bite in Seasons Restaurant.

Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award Winner

In 2024 Go Ape Moors Valley was awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice Award. Here's a recent review:

"We came in May to do segaways with the family. This is our third time doing it and this was the best one yet. Furthest we've been with an instructor too! We had Will who was an amazing instructor who ensured that we had a fun, safe time as well as talking to us about where we were. Best experience ever with Go Ape and we'll certainly be back again in the summer."
