Top Tips for Booking your Go Ape Hen Do
Go Ape experiences are sought-after, particularly for hen dos, so availability can be limited. By booking ahead, you can secure your preferred date and time, ensuring a stress-free planning process.
Personalise your celebration with decorations, customised t-shirts, or themed accessories. Just make sure your outfits do not interfere with any harnesses (if taking part in a high-ropes adventure) and remember #nocapes.
Assign someone to be the designated photographer to record the day. You'll want to look back on these moments and remember the laughter, the thrill, and the bond you shared with your friends. You can even buy secure Go Ape phone pouches at the check-in cabin.
Please ensure all participants are aware of the safety guidelines and procedures before your hen do. Complete all your disclaimers before arriving and make sure to show up early for a pre-adventure catch up (and loo trip) before the fun starts.
Go Ape provides thorough safety briefings and equipment, including harnesses for high ropes adventures and helmets for Forest Segway experiences.
The Go Ape policy strongly recommends pregnant women do not take part on the course. Our adventures are robust physical activities which involve a degree of risk. However, we do not want to be discriminatory and ultimately the choice is yours. We are not medical experts and therefore suggest you seek advice from your doctor on the matter.
If you decide to proceed, you will need to declare that you are pregnant and sign a disclaimer stating that: “I have made Go Ape aware that I am pregnant and as a result Go Ape has recommended that I do not take part on the course. However, I have decided to take part on the course in the full knowledge that this may incur risks to my unborn child”.
Consider the size of your hen do group when pre-booking. Go Ape offers various adventures and experiences to cater to different group sizes and preferences. Discuss with your fellow hens and choose the option that best suits your group dynamics and adventure levels.
Go Ape also offers the option to tailor your experience to suit your hen do group. Whether you want to include team-building exercises or surprise the bride-to-be with a special element, the Go Ape team will help you create a customised experience.
First time at go ape for my hen party and loved every minute of it even the rain didn't put a damper on the day I will definitely be back!"
We were a party of 15 hens and had the absolute best time. So easy to organise and change numbers when needed to. Communication before we went and whilst we were there was spot on.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped us have the funniest time! We all ache like crazy now but totally worth it and memories (and photo evidence) to cherish and provide giggles forever, thank you so much Go Ape!!!
"We came to Go Ape Rivington for a hen party in March and had an absolute blast. The course was so much fun - challenging, but we felt great to have finished it! The long zip wire was a thrill! The instructors were great - made us all feel very safe"
