ALICE HOLT

Surrey

Alice Holt is a royal forest on the Surrey/Hampshire border, situated some 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Farnham, Surrey. Part of the South Downs National Park, our leafy hideout boasts an epic backdrop and is just a stone's throw away from where they filmed the opening battle from Gladiator and, more recently, scenes from Skyfall, Captain America and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather, so bring along a mac if it’s raining! Make sure your stomach area is covered. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles with good grips. No sandals or slip-off shoes. You’ll need closed toe and heel shoes (with flat soles). Long hair must be tied back.

When do I need to arrive?

Make your way to the Go Ape cabin and be ready to get going on your Go Ape adventure at your booked time. Late arrivals that miss their session will be charged at full price.

Can I bring a camera?

Phones and cameras are permitted, as long as they always stay attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.

What is Tree Top Junior?

It’s a fun filled hour of canopy exploring, trail blazing and obstacles for all to enjoy. You’ll negotiate crossings and finish on a high (literally) with an awesome zip wire.

Can I go on as an adult?

If you want to join your little monkeys then just book yourself on. Bear in mind the course is designed for children so the safety cable won’t be quite where you'd like it.

Are there toilets?

Yes there will be, but they may be a little walk from the Go Ape cabin. Please allow some extra time for a toilet stop!

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, FOREST SEGWAY, Dalby

1st October 2016

Booked Segway and GoApe for my brother and sister and we had the best day. My brother has been a rock climber for most of his life so I was worried he might find it tame but he loved the whole experience! Would definitely book again.

TREE TOP JUNIOR, Bracknell

Such an exciting experience for the children, it was one of our daughters most successful birthday parties to date, the children loved it. We liked having our own carpark, although I feel this should be complimentary, with the amount you pay for the goape experience. Staff all very helpful, would have liked to have seen more staff up helping the younger children maybe?

TREE TOP ADVENTURE, Forest of Dean

I loved it - again. Had great pleasure introducing two new people. They were ecstatic about it. I was slightly disappointed that some of the harder bits towards the end have been removed. There were a few too many crosses to cross. Also, it seemed to be a bit overbooked; which made it slow - BUT on the other hand, we made friends while we were waiting at the platforms, which was great. So, overall, fantastic yet again.

Brilliant day out. Our guide Louise was incredibly helpful and guided us through everything. The day started with a safety session and then we were allowed to go on to the different courses. The zip lines were my favourite along with the Tarzan jumps. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, definitely plan to return.
