Who is the activity for?

Treetop Adventure is designed with children aged 4 to 6 or 10 years old in mind (depending on the location). It’s a brilliant introduction to our high ropes.

Under 6 years
Under 6 years

One adult (18+) can supervise 2 children aged under 6 and must participate in the activity.

6-15 year olds
6-15 year olds

One adult (18+) can supervise 8 children aged 6-15 years old from the course or on the ground.

Adults (18+) cannot simultaneously supervise children participating in Treetop Challenge and other high ropes activities such as Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus.

How to Use Your Pass

Here’s how it works:

  • Book your Treetop Adventure or Treetop Adventure Plus online – it’ll appear as free at checkout (booking fee applies).
  • Prefer spontaneity? Visit a site for a walk-in adventure (subject to availability).
  • Parents and guardians can manage passes for the whole family under one account.
  • Valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Use it once per day, every day we’re open.
  • Passes are non-transferable – they belong to your family’s adventurers.

This was my first ever Go Ape experience on my birthday at the rip old age of 47... the staff we encountered were friendly and put safety at the forefront of everything. Before moving off on our own we felt fully confident on what we were doing. The course was amazing as it started with a massive zip line and then with shaken knees and the adrenaline pumping we were off on our own. Thank you to the staff there and I look forward to our next visit

My daughter absolutely loves Go Ape in Chelmsford! The place is in a lovely, quiet area with parking right next to it. The staff are very friendly and make children feel comfortable and confident. They’re also very dog-friendly — they always greet my dog and offer him water. We have an unlimited pass, and it’s definitely worth it. A great adventure for kids, with lots of exercise and being outdoors!
