Your Next Adventure in Scotland

Daring crossings, speedy zip wires and unforgettable Tarzan swings - our high ropes course at Crathes Castle is a wonderland of outdoor adventure. Climb, leap and swing a lush broadleaf canopy. Plus, put your best foot forward on a hair-raising skateboard zip line.

Our most northerly UK location is just 40 minutes from Aberdeen, and set in the majestic grounds of a 16th century castle. Seasoned adventurers will be tested by our most difficult obstacles, and for novice risk-takers we'll ease you into the Go Ape spirit with a variety of crossings designed to turn "I can't" into "I can".

Tree Top Adventure

You'll swagger away from this high ropes course with a newfound sense of achievement - and quite rightly so, it's 592 metres of mind-bloggling, nerve testing adventure. It'll take around 2-3 hours to experience the entire high ropes course, hitting heights of up to 9 metres! Built in the historic grounds of Crathes Castle, you're gauranteed a day out in Scotland like no other.
