Our 36 Go Ape locations can be found in some of the beautiful forests and parks across the UK and whichever one you choose you're in for an awesome adventure. But, every location and every adventure are very different.
We've asked around through the forest telegraph and dsicovered some of the most interesting facts about our Go Ape locations. Which Go Ape location has the longest zip line? Which has the biggest Tarzan Swing? And which one also has a Mini Steam Train in the forest?

Located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Go Ape Aberfoyle has two of the longest dual zips in the UK. Here’s 3 steps to the perfect adventurous day out!
Step 1: Speed across a valley on a colossal 323-metre zip line.
Step 2: Complete the tricky Treetop Challenge high ropes adventure.
Step 3: Zip back to the cabin on an even longer 45-metre-high, 426-metre-long zip.
Go Ape Alexandra Palace is our tallest course in London. The highest platform is 46ft high, with panoramic views across London’s skyline.

Go Ape Alice Holt is located in the royal Alice Holt Forest, amongst soaring ancient oaks and conifers.
You can appreciate a birds-eye of view from three high-ropes experiences; keep a look out for the local wildlife, including deer, foxes and badgers.
Did you know that an episode of ITV hit show, Primeval featuring Hannah from S-Club 7, was filmed in Alice Holt Forest.
Go Ape Battersea Park is an urban adventure paradise in the heart of London.
Expect sky-scraper high views on this stacked course and listen out for animal calls from the nearby Battersea Zoo.
Even if you don’t make it to the zoo, you might spot some unique wildlife, as Battersea Park is home to the colourful Parakeet.
Go Ape Bedgebury, located in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, has the largest collection of conifers in the world.

Home to SIX adrenaline-filled high ropes and ground-based adventures, Go Ape Black Park has it all!
It’s one of three Go Ape locations to offer our bounce-tastic Nets Adventure and the only one with a Forest Biking Experience.
Go Ape Bracknell has fun covered from the ground up to the trees with five unique adventures, including the exclusive Axe Throwing experience.
Another claim to fame is that parts of the Harry Potter movies were filmed in the forest.

Launched in Summer 2023, Go Ape Blackburn is our first stand-alone location for young explorers, with Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus high ropes experiences.
It’s also based in the picturesque Witton Country Park, which is filled with pretty picnic spots, walks, nature trails and play areas.
Set high in the hilltops of the Peak District, Go Ape Buxton offers breathtaking views and big adventures – with one of our steepest Tarzan Swing drops on Treetop Challenge.
Buxton is a historical thermal spa town, surrounded by the UK’s oldest National Park - and is the home of Buxton Mineral Water. There’s loads plenty to explore nearby including the renowned Mam Tor and The Great Ridge Walk, which offers some of the best views in the Peak District.
Did you know that Go Ape Cannock has it’s very own crossing, the Cannock crossing – as well as the longest combined crossing length out of all our locations.
Plus, they host our team game, Baboonzled amongst 'the battlegrounds' in Cannock Chase Forest.
Launched in Summer 2023, Go Ape Chelmsford is our first location in Essex and has three awesome high-ropes adventures.

Go Ape Moors Valley is a family favourite destination on the South coast with FIVE Go Ape adventures, as well fun activities in the Moors Valley Country Park itself.
There are award winning playgrounds, sculpture and play trails for children, a nature centre and even a Mini Railway.
There’s also a World War II bunker in Moors Valley, and during the war the area was lit with ‘fake’ runways lights to distract the Nazis from bombing the real airfields nearby.
No two crossings are the same at Go Ape Normanby Hall - so you’ll have to work harder and each one will push you in a different way.
This is the triple whammy: forest, country park and stately home – oh and two high ropes adventures!
Tucked away in the picturesque Go Ape Glentress Forest, Peebles is a firm adventurer favourite.
This Treetop Challenge experience features the highest Go Ape zip platform and cross-valley zips up to 325m long! You’ll be treated to magnificent views across Tweed Valley all the while.
Don’t forget your bike, Glentress Forest has some of the best mountain bike trails in the country.
Known as the “Mini Lake District of Manchester”, Go Ape Rivington is an extreme and picturesque adventurous day out!
It’s our only location featuring a zip wire over open water, and you can take in stunning rugged view as you leap off 13m+ high platforms.
Tucked away near Robin Hood’s infamous Major Oak hideout, you’ll be spoilt for choice at Go Ape Sherwood, with SIX adventures to choose from.
With our most extreme adventure, Challenge Plus, as well as Nets Adventure (for anyone over 1 year old) there’s something for everyone from tots to centenarians.
Go Ape Southampton is one of our highest southern courses! Set in the lush Itchen Valley Country Park find three awesome adventures, including the exclusive Axe Throwing experience.
There are also lots of trails through the country park, including orienteering and sculpture trails for children.
Nestled in estate grounds with a 500-year-old country mansion and beautiful woodlands, Go Ape Temple Newsam is a grand adventure for the whole family! Go wild on three awesome high-rope experiences – Treetop Challenge even includes a 11m free-fall plummet.
Once you’re back on the ground, explore walking trails and keep a look out for the Wild Green Parakeets that live in the woodland.
Our very first location, the Go Ape story began in Thetford in 2002 and is an adventurers’ paradise with SIX adrenaline-filled forest experiences.
Thetford Forest is also famous for it’s play facilities – there are giant swings, pyramids, a treehouse and children can bang out music of their own making on the Sound Trail.
Located in the highest point in the Chilterns, Go Ape Wendover is bursting with colour and wildlife.
Wendover Woods is home to two awesome high ropes adventures as well as the smallest bird in Europe, the firecrest. You can even find Glis Glis near the Tarzan Swing on our Treetop Challenge experience.
Set in England’s only true mountain forests, Whinlatter Forest, Go Ape Whinlatter is our highest location!
Drink in dramatic Lake District views on high ropes or a Forest Segway adventure. This is a firm customer favourite!
If you’re a keen cyclist, Whinlatter Forest is home to some of the best and longest purpose-built mountain bike trails in the Lake District.
Go wild at Go Ape Woburn, which is set in the middle of Woburn Safari Park!
Enjoy magical views over acres of animal reserves and beyond as you conquer this tough Treetop Challenge experience.
Go Ape Wyre is set in one of Britain's largest remaining ancient forests, nicknamed the Valley of Giants, with enormous Douglas fir trees.
